The Fader premiers Cadence Weapon "Conditioning"

Cadence Weapon is pointing the way toward his third album, Hope in Dirt City out May 29th. "Conditioning" the video shot by Evan Prosofsky (Grimes/Oblivion) and directed by Tim Kelly premiered this week at The Fader along with the track that's available for download.

Check out the feature here.

DVAS "Questions" Remixed by Adam K, Enton Mushi and James Bradshaw - Available now exclusively on Beatport

Fresh off his monster track "Tomahawk" alongside BT and out on Armin Van Buuren's Armind imprint, ADAM K drops a serious bomb with a tough main room prog stormer.  After a brief hiatus, Hotbox Digital returns with an absolute monster of a track that showcases our very own DVAS “Questions” getting the royal remix treatment.

This mix has been getting serious heat from Adam's SiriusXM Radio show, and Podcast, as well as in his live sets. It has become a standout track just in time for Miami!

Also included on the trance tip from Toronto's rising talent Enton Mushi who brings a driving, melodic remix that layers the lush vocal over rolling percussion and smooth chord progressions.

Lastly, 2 time Juno award winner James Bradshaw gives us a more chilled out, luscious club mix perfect for early night grooves or terrace vibes that brilliantly showcases DVAS' rich vocals over moody, memorable synths.

Available exclusively on Beatport DVAS "Questions" Remixes by Adam K, Enton Mushi Music, and James Bradshaw. Download here

Cadence Weapon Hope in Dirt City

Cadence Weapon continues to firmly establish his legacy as a sonic pioneer while constantly pushing the rap and electronic music envelope. Following his critically acclaimed, Polaris Music Prize nominated albums Breaking Kayfabe and Afterparty Babies and a two-year term as Edmonton’s Poet Laureate, he returns with his new album “Hope In Dirt City” this Spring. A clearly defined and emotionally mature statement of intent, “Hope In Dirt City” represents the culmination of these experiences. Composed of a unique hybrid of psychedelic soul, old school rap, IDM and mutant disco, "Hope In Dirt City" is a ground-breaking achievement in hip-hop. Cadence Weapon has returned to bring rap back to its essence

“Erstwhile poet laureate and current purveyor of the shortest, most balling-est homage to hip-hop we’ve heard this year” RCRD LBL

“Cadence Weapon has always sought to be ahead of the game, making prominent use of electronic producers at a time when hip hop seems largely caught in a form of aesthetic stasis.” CLASH MUSIC

“f**king hot stuff! glad to see you’ve stayed to your own original style after all these years” Fan on Soundcloud
